Mike Stanley - VP Machine Learning

Mike is well known in the semiconductor field, where he spent almost four decades on topics ranging from circuit design and microcontroller architecture to algorithm development and machine learning. He brings that machine-learning experience to Lightsense, applying those techniques to pathogen detection using spectral data as input to his machine-learning engines. Mike has eight patents and is the co-author of Sensor Analysis for the Internet of Things. He received his B.S.E. from Michigan State University in 1980 and his M.S. from Arizona State University in 1986.
